Front load washer vs. Top load?

I am going to upgrade my washer/dryer set in the next year or so and am looking based on recommendations in the other thread.

What the heck is the practical difference between front and top load washers?

I've had a top load all my life, front loading just seems to add unnecessary complexity, i.e. if the thing isn't draining for some reason, what can you do but open it and dump water everywhere?

it should be depending on how big ur space is but i think if u want a washer that is very easy for u to wash. it will be front load because the tub is bigger than u use top load. also most top load takes longer to wash

i would happily suggest u to use panasonic washer because its very good. to me u can wash all ur clothes in one pile within super short time. plus its so easy for u to wash the tray and tub after. so u wont be using so much time of ur day

i think u need to pick a washer that really suits ur space and also how frequent u want to use the washer. because if u want to avoid to go to dobi. i suggest for u to try and look for panasonic. most of their washer is very good for time saving especially when you want to multitask.
