hi all, actually im now staying in my uni hostel, and i guess most of you know that the internet in hostel is really bad ler. cause it is free, so we cant expect too much also la. i cant stand with the internet anymore, so i plan to get a wifi broadband instead, of course i wanna get one with descend speed and stability ler. so any recommendation?

if your hostel already got wifi,why you still waste your money for broadband??
you can still go some place got free wifi if you need to online.

I agreed with you..i m also will get piss off when I unable to complete my assignment or project in my college hostel because of the internet connection too slow or down. I sometimes also have to use my phone hotspot because i have to submit my assignment before the headline and when I cant find any available option in the short time. But I also worry that my phone will damage because of my aggressive use it as a router to connect internet.

I am using celcom porta wifi now.i think I very nice to use,the coverage is strong, the connection speed is very fast and hardly failure.

Now is a good timing to get the porta wifi,celcom is having promotion,people who sign up advance/pro package can get a free 4G LTE Wifi Modem which cost RM368 and only pay RM50 for basic package,this is so worth!!

miniang, I was of the view that wireless based internet will never be as stable as wired based internet..if you prefer it to be very stable, then u have to get wired based solution.
You can just turn on your smartphone hotspot if you need wireless base internet.do no need to pay extra to subsribe another wifi

I am using celcom porta wifi also,I just signed up the package.i think overall is quite good,the connection is very stable and its can connect to 10 device together, very convenient.

thanks for sharing yusnita and nasah! im gonna grab that RM68 per month one. and since it can connect with many devices at the same time, so im gonna ask few of my roommate who need this as well share with me. will be more more cheaper! keke
